Open Road Media, a terrific publisher, has released a triple ebook package (titled “Fatal Deceptions”) of the revised 2017 editions of my true crime books “Above Suspicion” “Death Sentence” and “Deadly Greed.” One-day sale today: $3.99 (cheap, as Mad Magazine used to proclaim).
As you know, “Above Suspicion,” originally published in 1993 by Simon & Schuster, has been adapted as a major motion picture starring Emilia Clarke and directed by Phillip Noyce, to be released later this year. “Deadly Greed,” originally published in 1991 by Prentice Hall, has been optioned as a movie. “Death Sentence,” the story of the horrific family murderer John List, published originally by Penguin in 1990, is in screenplay.
The new edition of “Above Suspicion” was also published in a print earlier this year, along with the ebook and audio-book (which Random House released in January). The 2017 edition of “Death Sentence,” is now just in ebook, though the original print edition is still available on Amazon and elsewhere. Good news: Open Road tells me that they will publish the revised “Death Sentence” in a new print edition this fall. Meanwhile, late last year, Simon & Schuster reissued the original print edition of “Deadly Greed.”
My editor at Open Road Media, Emma Pulitzer, has been a joy to work with this year.
